She is an active young scientist with a rich CV. She is expert in production (chemical) methods, such as sol-gel, co-precipitation etc., of special ceramics and glasses, including gels and nano-scaffolds, suitable for drug delivery systems or hyperthermia applications.

He is an active professor of cardiology, who has a strong CV in terms of publications along clinical experience. His publications include experimental work on cardial diseases of experimental animals. Recently he has developed an active collaboration with Dr. Agathopoulos at building ceramic nano-scaffolds for drug-delivery, restoration and regeneration of damaged heart tissues after heart attack.
